Hormone Therapy
Personalized Hormone Therapy for Women & Men
Hormonal changes can affect how you feel and function at different stages of life. At AZ Hormone Health & Wellness, hormone therapy begins with a comprehensive evaluation—not a predetermined treatment plan.
We offer individualized estrogen, progesterone and testosterone therapy for appropriate patients, with ongoing symptom assessment and laboratory monitoring to help guide care over time.
Understanding Hormone Therapy
Hormones play an important role throughout the body, influencing everything from reproductive and sexual health to bone, muscle and other physiological functions.
Hormone therapy uses specific hormones to address clinically appropriate needs. The type of hormone, dose and method of treatment depend on the individual patient, their health history, symptoms and goals.
At AZ Hormone Health & Wellness, hormone therapy may include estrogen, progesterone and testosterone, depending on the needs of the individual patient.
Hormone Therapy for Women
For women experiencing perimenopause or menopause, hormone therapy may be considered to manage certain symptoms associated with declining or fluctuating hormone levels.
Treatment may include estrogen and, when appropriate, progesterone. Testosterone may also be considered for appropriate patients based on individual clinical circumstances.
Every woman's treatment plan is different, which is why care begins with a comprehensive evaluation rather than a one-size-fits-all hormone protocol.

Testosterone Therapy for Men
Testosterone levels can change with age, but symptoms alone don't establish testosterone deficiency. Evaluation includes understanding your symptoms and medical history along with appropriate laboratory testing.
For men who are appropriate candidates for testosterone therapy, treatment is individualized and monitored over time.
The goal is to make treatment decisions based on the complete clinical picture—not simply a single laboratory result.
Comprehensive Evaluation Comes First
Before recommending hormone therapy, we take the time to understand your health history, symptoms, laboratory results, lifestyle and goals.
That evaluation helps determine whether hormone therapy may be appropriate and, if so, which treatment approach should be considered.
Not every patient who comes to us with symptoms needs hormone therapy, and hormone therapy isn't appropriate for everyone.
Individualized Treatment & Ongoing Monitoring
Hormone therapy requires ongoing care.
Once treatment begins, we monitor symptoms and appropriate laboratory markers to evaluate your response and determine whether adjustments may be needed.
Your treatment plan can evolve over time as your health, symptoms and goals change.
