As a nurse practitioner, I am always staying current on the latest science that supports healthy aging — and right now, one of the most exciting breakthroughs centers around a powerful molecule naturally found in our bodies called NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide).
Here is what you should know:
Over the years, science has shown us that aging is not just a matter of getting older — it is a biological process that starts at the cellular level, and the good news is it is not set in stone. Just as aging can speed up, it can also be slowed down — and in some cases, even reversed.
One of the most important molecules involved in this process is NAD+, which helps power our cells and plays a vital role in repair, energy production, metabolism, and reducing inflammation. Unfortunately, our NAD+ levels naturally decline as we age, and this decline is now considered one of the key contributors to aging — from fine lines and fatigue to deeper health issues.
Researchers have identified 9 cellular “hallmarks of aging”, and NAD+ plays a role in supporting nearly every one of them — including improving skin elasticity, repairing DNA, supporting brain function, promoting better sleep, and boosting energy.
Here is the exciting part: we now have ways to restore NAD+ levels through supplements, injections, IV therapy, and topical treatments. These approaches do not just help you look better — they can help your body feel better from the inside out by improving cellular function, enhancing skin healing, supporting muscle strength, and even improving cognitive clarity.
What this means for you:
At Age with Grace, we are excited to share that these evidence-based NAD+ therapies are now available to support your aging journey. Whether you're preparing for an aesthetic procedure, looking to boost your recovery, or simply want to feel more energized and vibrant, we have options that work from the inside out.
We are entering a new era where aging is no longer something we just accept, it’s something we actively manage.
